"The Great Ireland Run has been staged in the Phoenix Park for 10 years, and uses Code Blue for the provision of medical services, vehicles and personnel. "The setup of the hospital tent was completed well in advance of the start time, with all personnel in position and ready to go.  The professionalism of all the staff, including doctors, nurses and administration staff, was second to none.  At every stage of the event, staff were willing to meet and discuss the ongoing situation and provide me with regular updates of the event and the numbers and types of cases treated.
The interaction between Codeblue staff, my own staff, and the voluntary organisations present, was excellent, and nobody had any qualms about approaching Codeblue staff for help.  This helped make the weekend a very enjoyable one for all concerned.
Patients in the Hospital tent were very complimentary of the service they had received and how they were treated by the Codeblue staff over the weekend.
The equipment in the Hospital tent, which they provided, was excellent and plentiful.  At no stage did they run short of equipment or medications, and indeed they had spare equipment in a van on site, should it be required.
Overall, the experience was that of a very helpful, professional, well organised team, who were completely competent with the job in hand, and I would say that in the future, I would have no hesitation in using their services again at an event, either large or small."
