Tom Giffney spent 25 years in the Dublin Fire and Ambulance Service working as a senior operational Paramedic and Station Officer. He is a former AHA International Trainer in BLS, PALS & ACLS and worked as National Resuscitation Officer for the Irish Heart Foundation from 1994 to 2001. He served over 12 years as a member of the Irish Heart Foundation\'s ACLS & BLS Councils and is a highly experienced Instructor Trainer in all disciplines. While working as Clinical Manager in the Centre for Immediate Care Services in University College Dublin, he was involved in General Practitioner trauma and resuscitation training courses and he remains a regular contributor on Sports Medicine trauma and resuscitation training programmes throughout Ireland. Tom is currently Resuscitation Training Officer for the Bon Secours Hospital in Dublin.

Dr. Neil Reddy (MB BCh BAO (Hons), MSc, LFOM) graduated from University College Cork in 1999. He subsequently trained in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine at Beaumont Hospital and Tallaght Hospital, Dublin, following which Neil studied Health Informatics in Trinity College Dublin. He has been an ACLS instructor since 2002 and a PALS instructor since 2005 and is one of the most experienced medical directors in the country, directing 50 ACLS and 6 PALS courses yearly. Neil\'s expertise in IT allows Code Blue to deliver extra content to students in our exclusive on-line training area. He is currently completing an MSc in Clinical Education in the University of Edinburgh.

Neil has extensive experience in pre-hospital and event medicine with 5 years of covering mass gatherings such as Oxegen, Electric Picnic, The Great Ireland Run, Croke Park, RDS, AVIVA Stadium, O2 Arena, Slane Castle, European Cross-Country Championships, Ryder Cup, Seve Trophy, National Ploughing Championships and many more...
